Organizing private parties
Locations for parties
Do you want to host a party? Sounds like a great idea. However, you have to find a suitable location first.
Own/parents' house
Do you own a house? Great you have found the perfect location for the next party. A drawback could be that you parents are living with you. Offer them a perfect weekend at some site they always wanted to see. Then the house is clear for your party. Maybe it's necessary to get rid of your neighbors as well. A large garden, a swimming pool and several rooms for your guests will guarantee that your party is going to be exciting for everybody. Be sure to inform your guest to bring their beachwear along if you are planning a pool party.
Dorm
When living on campus in a dorm there are opportunities to organize a party as well. It may be even easier and cheaper than organizing a party at your parents' house. Often dorms have special rooms dedicated for parties, which can be rented for a small amount or even for free. Some colleges are very liberal when it comes to partying. Others have strict rules and make you work very hard. Hopefully you picked the right college. If not you just had bad luck.
Rented house
If none of the two above-mentioned locations is an alternative for you, the third idea will help you. Plan a party vacation. Don't go to a hotel. You should rent a whole house instead. In order to make it cheaper take five or six friends with you. The house you are renting may be far away from home on an island or a cottage house not too far away from home. The advantage of booking a cottage house not far away from house is that you save travel expenses and your many friends of yours may join. If you're renting a house far away from home you can stay longer, enjoy a different climate and meet many new people.
In any case, you should be very careful to make sure that your friends don't tear down the house. Otherwise, you may face terrible repair costs.
